On the day, there was also a pop-up café in the School Halla.

4:45:The Thomas Kent reenactment. This involved a reenactment of the RIC surrounding the Kent home in Bawnard. It was an amazing sight with replica guns and bombs.

Sciath na Scol Hurling

S.na Scol – Hurling 18.5.2016

Three schools in our section, Dungourney, Inch and ourselves have ended up with 3 wins out of 4 matches.  A draw took place in the S.na Scol office yesterday, which left the following:

  • We play Inch today.
  • The winners today go through to semi-final V Conna on Monday.
  • The losers today play Dungourney on Friday.
  • The winners of that game will play Ballintotas on Monday in a second semi-final.
  • Finals take place sometime between 30th May and 10th June – if we get that far. Let’s hope we do!
  • Gach ádh, a bhuachaillí! (Best of luck, boys!)

We have one more final folk dancing session this Thursday (19th May).

€2.00 per child/ €5.00 max for a family of 3 or more.
